Supermoist Friendship Tour -29th February to the 3rd March 2024

Supermoist and Dive Connection will be hosting their annual and legendary "Friendship Tour"
What is the friendship tour... well it all started 20 years ago when Paul Pedro and Mike Muller decided to teach all their friends to scuba dive for FREE and take them to Mozambique to let them experience what they had found... the rest is history 
Today they teach all friends made over the year for FREE bar the cost of equipment and air fills
As tradition has it they still take the students and casual divers alike to the heart of Ponta do Ouro, Mozambique’s Campsite, is a little piece of heaven, a slither of gold, formerly known as The Whaler.  operating now as Underwater Explorers.
The beauty, views, accessibility and warm family environment, stays the same, catering for divers and friends, alike. With dive center, accommodation, and easy access to the beach, Underwater Explorers is the place to be in Southern Mozambique.

PS!! Student registration shut off date will be the Saturday 1st February 2024.

There are 5 types of accommodation available:
On the Beach and sea facing otherwise described in the packages as "Ensuite" units / rooms
1) Big Sea Facing Ensuite (only 1 available) - 1 x Double Bed and 3 single beds (this unit is only on special request as it has a different price tag) (Sea Facing - LUX)
2) Sea Facing Ensuite (2 Available) - 1 x Double Bed and 2 single beds (Sea Facing - LUX)
3) Sea Facing Ensuite (4 Available) - 1 x Double Bed and 1 single beds (Sea Facing)
4) Small Sea Facing Ensuite (4 Available) - 1 x Double Bed (Sea Facing)
In the Camp
5) Traditional Reed Casita (lots Available) - sleeps 2 to 3 people, double and single bed options available. (Reed Casita)

The Diving
6°50.32'S 32°53.10'E 

Ponta do Ouro (The Point of Gold), is the southernmost resort on the Mozambican coast. The easiest entry is through Kosi Bay border post and Ponta do Ouro is 15kms from the border.
This is a tourist destination to please any person interested in scuba diving, snorkeling and swimming on white sand beaches.
There are many fantastic dive sites in Ponta do Ouro, Mozambique.  The reefs range in depth from 10m at Creche to 47m at Atlantis and the diverse and plentiful marine life you will find here is amazing. The reefs comprise of boulders and fossilised sandstone covered in soft coral, hard coral, sponges and invertebrates. 

Marine life ranges from the tiniest shrimps to beautiful nudibranchs, leaf fish, scorpion fish, lion fish, trigger fish, surgeon fish, eels, frog fish, potato bass (groupers), dolphins, mantas, turtles and whale sharks.
